Post Summer Update
I hope you have all had a good break and continued to conduct your research. By the time you return you should have watched all your films and be equipped with detailed notes that will illustrate Textual Analysis in your final presentation.
The important thing is to keep researching and reading, we have to get the proposals completed and sent off to the Moderator during the first week back, it is therefore vital that you are fixed on your research title.
Ensure you update your blog as some of you have virtually nothing on there presently. I will be leaving comments on the blogs over the coming week so please make sure it is updated

Careful planning reading and research is key to success. Start by identifying your films watch them making notes (Primary Research) and identifying which scenes you will use that will help to highlight your research topic.

Update
I am very pleased to see so much progress on your blogs. It is now important that you start to gather sources for you research project. Which films could you use (3 in total 4 in some cases) Make sure you look very widely so we can start to discuss getting it narrowed down to a research statement that I can then send to the moderator.
If you are looking at changes over time then you will need some older texts?
Get into the library and editing suite and go through magazines looking for sources
If you want to sit down and discuss before next week then come to the office or mail me.
